Review: I
think i fell in love
with this one partly because of the spectacular graphics, being one of
the first television shows to extensively use CGI to produce the more
spectacular space scenes, and the real element of the interpersonal
relationships between the crew of the station and the various
ambassadors. This isn't a collection of like minded races forming a
federation, it's a bunch of stellar superpowers, many of whom spent
years fighting one another with the sole goal of genocide. This is a
powerful, and interesting show to watch, not to sickeningly goody two
shoes, and not a blood fest, it realistically portrays the various
dynamics that make up such a place, from the internal politics, to the
back alley dealings and power brokering. I highly recommend this one
for any real science fiction fan, and anyone who likes a good story.
