Review: I found this one in the $3.44 bin after Thanksgiving, and i tell you, i less want my $3.44 back than i want the hour and a half i wasted watching it. Pointless, meandering and completely without meat or taste, this one really is a total waste of time. I thought 'Hey! George Clooney in space, has to be something there!' I was woefully wrong on so many levels. The science fiction was more an afterthought, though done cleanly, and the plot was mediocre at best. I was bored from the beginning and realize it was more akin to 2001 A Space Odessy in a sort of spiritual or metaphysical ponderment than a bit of entertainment. trust me, the box lies!

Ebert and Roper, the New York Daily News, and Newsday all raved about it according to the cover, but i had a hard time keeping my mind more on the movie than on my sunflower seeds. If your looking to entertain the family, take this one and use it as skeet target at the shotgun range, you'll get more out of it than if you actually watched the blasted thing. The language is mild, and some nudity, side and rear, give this one a PG-13, but the story is so bad i think it wont be an issue for the kids who will grow bored and go shave the cat before the movie is over.
Plot: George Clooney Stars as Chris Kelvin, A psychologist sent to a remote space station orbiting the Planet Solaris. The crew stopped communicating to earth, and reports of strange things lead to a one man exploration to determine the cause of the outage.
