Review:
Not a bad story and
pretty well done as well, this one is quite like Jumanji, after all, it
was meant to be. I liked it for the action and story as much as the
special effects. The house was full of families and i get the feeling
the parents liked the show as much as the kids did. When i first saw
the trailer for this one, i wasn't expecting much, but decided i had to
bite the bullet for our viewers and came out very satisfied that i was
quite wrong about this movie. |
It wasn't written for
adults, but it was
done well enough that we grownups could appreciate it. The
relationships between the two brothers, and with their sister, hit the
nail on the head. From power struggles to the sibling rivalry, it
seemed far more realistic than most television shows. Part of this
movie deals with the divorce of the kids' parents, and the blame game
the children play about it. Hardly more than playground language has
this one rated PG, and the monsters are a bit scary for the tiny ones,
but other than that this one is good for the whole clan.
