Bill's Review: At first i was wondering what in the world the heads at Warner Brothers were thinking redoing somehting they already did fifteen years ago? Well, apparently they were doing something right. This is a more intense, in depth look at what went into the creation of billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne, and more importantly, Batman. A darker, more angry Batman resulted, a more believable and interesting creation. I think this has laid a very good foundation for a new franchise of the Batman legacy. Dark and violent, but not bloody and gratuitous, this one might be too much for littles, but fine for the 10ish plus kids. The criminals are less stereo typed, but more evil, and hte villans are truly vilanous. I think Christian Bale wasa good choice for the character as he has the billionaire playboy look as well as a dark element he has started to tap in his adult career. Bring it home for the super hero fans as well as the kid in us all who still believes a man without super powers can change the world, even if it is just a small part of it or a whole city.
