Ultraviolet
Rating: PG-13

Content: Violence, Language, Brief Nudity
Review: Ultraviolet
is yet another in a long line of Comic Book heroes turned big screen
draws. The effects are spectacular in this film, but the computer
enhancements of color and airbrushing go a little far, almost to
distraction. Outside that, the story is a nice distraction and a worthy
attempt. Many of the action sequences seem a little far fetched, but
that makes it all the more fun I think. Being a comic buff from an
early age, i still didn't get to read much of the story of Ultraviolet,
but I know there is a lot to pack into one film, so they hit most of
the key elements and made it a probable stand alone film destined to
lack a sequel. Rear nudity of Jovonvich, minimal language and a ton of
action violence with little blood give this one a PG-13. Not a lot to
be concerned with for the older kids in the double digits i think.
Don't wait.
