Review: Holy Moley! My worst fear for this movie was that we had seen everything in the previews and special clips on Sci-Fi channel. Not to worry! There was plenty more to occupy the almost 2 hours. My whole family had a blast and we are in agreement this is a movie to be watched twice. The story is in and of it's self perfectly stand alone for those who did not see the series on television, but it also continues the story for those of us who have seen it. More history of River, and more of the Alliance as well as the Reavers. Humor, space ships, space battles, hand to hand, lot's of guns, what more could a guy want? Definitely a guy movie more than not, but it's a fun flick for most anyone with a liking for science fiction. The PG-13 rating is for language, sexual situations, not to mention horrific Reavers in all their sadistic glory. Tiny Tots will be frightened by the Reavers but beyond that, it's not to bad, unless someone can make sense out of the neo Chinese lingo they keep bantering back and fourth.
